The 2024 Community Yard Sale is Saturday, June 1st 8 AM to Noon
Wintergreen Property Owners Association is pleased to announce that there will be another Community Yard Sale this summer. We are repeating the same outdoor table format that was so successful last year. This format provides homeowners with a safe and convenient way to sell personal property they no longer need. This will be exclusively an outdoor event. Owners will be responsible for selling their own wares, keeping any proceeds from what they sell.
The 2024 format:
One table and two chairs will be available for a $10.00 fee. Homeowners may wish to “go in” together and share tables. (Spaces are limited to approximately 27 tables) You are more than welcome to bring an “extra” table of your own.
Checks should be made payable to Wintergreen Rescue Squad and must be received in the Community Office Building (COB) by Friday May 24th. There is a drop box in our foyer that is available 24/7. Office hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. till 4 p.m. 88 Wintergreen Drive
Homeowners may bring any items they wish to sell and will be responsible for bringing them to the sale and attending them at their table area during the sale hours. Sellers retain all proceeds.
At the end of the sale, leftover unwanted household items, clothing, and small items may be packed up and loaded by the seller on a trailer supplied by WPOA. These items will be transported to a charitable organization. Unsold FURNITURE, ELECTRONICS, TV’S, COMPUTERS, and LARGE ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON THE TRAILER. Participants must remove these items themselves.
WPOA will advertise the sale to ensure good turnout for the event.
Bathrooms will be accessible inside the building.
