Board appoints Luessen, Ely, Steele, & Coy as officers

Bill Gatewood, a Stoney Creek resident who has served in the Wintergreen Property Owners Association’s public safety division in several roles including work as an officer with Wintergreen Police, has been elected to serve on WPOA’s Board of Directors.

"I would like for our property owners to be more informed, have better access to our board and management staff, and improve transparency," Gatewood said in his application to run for the WPOA board. "Additionally, technological improvements would allow for greater access and keep in line with today’s norm. "

There were two positions on the board to be filled in this year’s election. Karen Asher took the other spot on the board, winning reelection for a second four-year term. Asher said she is focused on “responsible and reasonable resource allocation." There were six candidates for the two positions this year.
