Over 90 percent of Wintergreen is in Nelson County. All of those in Wintergreen claiming Nelson County their home–on both the mountain and in the valley–vote in the Nellysford Precinct along with their Nellysford neighbors. The polling place is Tuckahoe Clubhouse in Stoney Creek. (Only 233 Wintergreen mountain properties are in Augusta County, of Wintergreen’s some 2,900 valley and mountain properties.)
