Over the past few days, I have received inquiries from our citizens wanting information about vaccine availability. I wish I could answer more definitively. The best source for accurate and up-to-date data can be found HERE from the Virginia Department of Health.
The national news has likely caused us all to look away from local news. Please don't lose sight of Covid-19. Nelson County cases now exceed 400 and there are 21 Nelsonians hospitalized. Now is not the time to become complacent.
Lastly, please prioritize mental health. These are very stressful times we're living in. Call you neighbors. Email your friends and family. Don't allow yourself or the people close to you to become socially isolated. If you're having trouble with this, it’s okay to ask for help.
