Wintergreen Golf Association (BOGGs) dues deadline: January 30

The dues for the 2018 season of the Wintergreen Golf Association dues are due January 30. The annual family membership dues remain at $20.

Membership to this decades-old, all-volunteer group, colloquially referred to as BOGGs (Bunch Of Guys & Gals), is open to all Wintergreen Resort members and Wintergreen property owners.

As many as four social events are held, such as a season opener in April and a season closer in November. These events typically have a fun golf activity prior to the social event. 

Additionally, members may play with any of the golf groups that have tee times preloaded for the year including:

  • Sunday Couples & Pairs 9-hole play (2-person team play)

  • Monday Men’s and Ladies’ 18-hole play

  • Tuesday Men’s and Ladies’ 9-hole play (Captain’s Choice or Own Ball Play)

  • Wednesday Ladies’ 18-hole play

  • Thursday Men’s and Ladies’ 9-hole Play (Captain’s Choice or Own Ball Play)

BOGGs members are also covered with hole-in-one insurance to offset much of the cost to celebrate right after a hole-in-one at a Wintergreen course. 

In January the BOGGs group leads and the Executive Committee will be working with the Wintergreen Resort pros to finalize the 2018 Event and Tee Time calendars. 

Those who pay their dues by the end of January will see the February 2018 BOGGS newsletter with the details of upcoming season.
